Tonight GEM® and our Keep It Cool® beverages have been honored by being included in the gift bags at the Scottsdale, Arizona premiere of the new documentary, Hot Flash Havoc.
The movie is touted to be not just entertaining, but funny, profound and enlightening to many women, whether they are perimenopausal, menopausal or nowhere near menopausal. In fact, the creators of this film promise that “it has the power to be a life-changing experience for every woman in your life. Every women over 30 needs to have this information.”
This documentary seeks to clarify the misinformation that spread after 2002′s Women’s Health Initiative study was released. Hot Flash Havoc is both provocative and revealing, and uses both frank, personal stories shared by real women and comprehensive interviews with the world’s experts on menopause.
Like GEM®, Hot Flash Havoc was created by women, for women (and those that love them!). In fact, one of the women featured in the film is Michelle King Robson, founder and CEO of EmpowHer in Phoenix, yet another company created by a woman for other women’s heath. Click here to watch Robson being interviewed about the film on Good Morning Arizona. GEM® is very excited to be a part of this momentous event!
